Photographing a vehicle involves more than fitting the entire car into the frame. Its shape, paint, wheels, interior and smaller details all react differently to light and surroundings.
The location should support the vehicle without competing for attention. Calm surfaces, clear lines and sufficient distance from the background help create a clean visual result.
Reflections are especially important. Paint and windows mirror almost everything around them. A small change in camera position can remove a distracting bright area or make a body line more visible.
A complete series should also include detailed photographs in addition to conventional full views. Lights, wheels, badges, interior materials and individual modifications reveal more about the vehicle than one perspective alone.
For a balanced result, I therefore plan several distances and viewpoints: clear full views, lower and more dynamic perspectives, calm side profiles and selected details.
